The Council of Europe is looking for expert trainers to provide intercultural training to municipal staff participating in the ROMACT Programme’s Capacity Building and Transnational Cooperation component.
These call for projects are financed under the specific objectives 4.1 Local Integrated Development in marginalized communities with a Roma minority and 4.2 Local Integrated Development in marginalized communities.
This call for proposals encompasses a range of options to allow applicants to devise an approach tailored to address their needs, within the scope of capacity-building and transnational cooperation.
One of the measures should have a positive impact on Roma communities and in particular on the issue of lack of Identification Documents (IDs).
The ROMACT Programme is presented under the chapter on building capacity and promoting cooperation, as one of the joint programmes of the EU and Council of Europe.
The Council of Europe is establishing a pool of Facilitators to work with public administration services in the municipalities included in the ROMACT Programme.

The ROMACT Programme began in Tundzha in October 2013, since then there have been many benefits to all citizens in our South-Eastern corner of Bulgaria.
